Debit Card

Your Debit Card can be used in place of a check or share draft. Just swipe your card anywhere you see the VISA Logo, enter credit if making a purchase, and the amount will be automatically deducted from your checking or share draft account. Your Debit Card can also be used as an ATM Card to access cash. If using your card with a pin number certain fees may apply. It’s fast, easy, and convenient to use. Apply today!

Debit Card PINs

When you receive a debit card you will receive information with the card on how to set your own PIN.  The Credit Union can no longer reset or order PINs.  If you already have a debit card and forget your PIN, please call (800) 992-3808 to reset the PIN to whatever you choose.  You must call from the home number that is listed with the Credit Union.  You will be asked for your current PIN – if you do not have that, you can still reset the PIN by giving other personal information through the prompts.

Debit Card Activation
If you need to activate a new debit card, the number to call is (800) 992-3808.

Debit Card Text Fraud Alerts

We take your security seriously.  Keeping your account safe and secure is our highest priority.  We are adding Text Fraud Alerts as part of our debit card protection program.

You will now receive text alerts when suspicious activity is detected on your United Community debit card.  If you receive a fraud alert, reply “Yes” or “No” to confirm or deny the activity.  If you reply “No” (the activity is fraudulent), you’ll quickly receive a follow-up text to let you know that a fraud specialist will call you soon to help protect your account.  We’ll also automatically disable your debit card to prevent any additional fraudulent activity.
If you reply “Yes” (the activity was legitimate), you can continue to use your debit card as normal.  If you don’t reply to the text, or your phone number is not a mobile number, we’ll attempt to reach you via automated voice call.

Text message alerts will come from 32768.

Automated phone calls will come from (844) 544-3265.

Make sure to save these numbers to your contacts so you don’t miss any alerts.  This added protection to your debit card is automatic and text message alerts are free.  If you have any questions or ever see a suspicious transaction on your debit card, please contact us.
